I spend most of my free time trying to keep up with two high-energy young boys.  I’m an avid sports fan and I have just enough construction knowledge to give me the confidence to start lots of home projects (the key word here being “start”).  I love spending my day with kids and working with other passionate disciples of the Lord at a Christ-inspired school.

ECS has been my true home since 1998.  My wife and teenage bonus-kids have been a part of the ECS family since the kids were in preschool.  Besides working at ECS, I enjoy coaching football and am now the head coach at Bellevue Christian High School.  I also enjoy working out, riding motorcycles and ATVs, and absolutely love vacationing in the sun.

I am a lifelong Seattle native, currently living in Sammamish with my wife Sheena. Our two daughters attended ECS from Preschool – 8th grade, and Sheena worked at ECS for 13 years. I enjoy fly fishing (well, any kind of fishing is great!), hiking, classic cars, and keeping up with our three busy Australian shepherds.

The Lord has blessed me with a passion for early childhood education, focusing primarily on preschoolers. My own children are now in their twenties, and my husband and I are enjoying life as empty nesters. Fellowshipping with family and friends, spending time with my granddaughter, and going on long walks are some of my favorite activities.

My husband, two daughters, and I moved from California to Seattle to plant Lighthouse Christian Church in Bellevue. I’ve spent most of my life in worship ministry, but am learning more about and experiencing God’s heart for justice and reconciliation in our world. I love reading, word games and puzzles, and especially spending time with family and friends!

Although I am a native Texan, I spent my school years in West Virginia and Colorado. I completed my student teaching in Seattle and fell in love with the lush green land, water and mountain scenery. Seattle has been my home for over 15 years. I enjoy spending time with my husband, our son, and our Border Collie/Lab mix dog. Our son keeps us busy in the adaptive sports world and our dog leads us to wooded trails and dog parks.Beyond our family, I treasure being in fellowship with my stepdaughter, grand babies, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
I like traveling, hiking, movies, good food, and Chai tea. Vacations to sunny beaches are the best! I have a passion for math, volunteering, philanthropy and event planning, and a heart for Jesus. I look forward to sharing my gifts with ECS.

A few years into my professional career, I was placed into a marketing role at a technology consulting firm. I absolutely loved it! Marketing is the perfect fit for my creative, yet analytical brain. Since then, I have worked as a freelance graphic designer, copy editor and digital marketer for small non-profits. This is my first year at ECS, and I am already so impressed by the students and staff that grace these halls. I believe it is one of the highest privileges and callings to pour into and raise up the next generation. You can truly see the fruit that comes from teachers intentionally and thoughtfully teaching and discipling students. ECS makes my job pretty simple, as it is easy to promote something you believe in! I am married to my best friend and love, Trevor, and together we have two children, Noah and Evangeline. Our family is currently in the process of starting a church under the covering of our home church, by planting the gospel in Mountlake Terrace. In my “spare” time, I can be found doing watercolor, teaching classical ballet, cooking or gardening.

I am an Air Force Brat who lived in 8 towns in 15 years. My family finally laid down roots in Sammamish, Washington in 1991. I attended Redmond High School, where I met my husband. We have 2 kids, who keep us busy with their dancing and soccer activities. I have worked in both public and private schools as a teacher, aide, and substitute for 12 years. My favorite job, by far, was working at a Christian preschool. Being able to work with people who care about students’ academic and spiritual learning is a blessing. When the opportunity arrived to work at ECS, I jumped at the chance to work in a positive Christian environment, again. I am very excited to be working at ECS!
