PREVIEW DAYS & INFORMATIONAL SESSIONS

We offer several preview days and informational sessions to provide an opportunity for parents to hear from the ECS staff and preview the classrooms and programs of their child’s next grade level.  These are typically held in the Fall and Winter of each school year, and include in-person “Open House”-style events as well as online sessions.

Middle School Preview, for 6th-8th Grades

Middle School is a pivotal season in a young person’s life—full of growth, questions, and new opportunities. At Eastside Christian School, we walk alongside families as students explore identity, belonging, and faith while building strong academic foundations. Our Middle School Preview is a one-hour meeting designed to help you experience what makes ECS a supportive, Christ-centered environment for 6th–8th graders. Guests at our Preview meet our teachers, learn about our academic and spiritual formation programs, explore athletics and co-curriculars, and discover how ECS prepares students for success in high school and beyond.

Our January 2026 Middle School Preview event has already passed, but we’d still love to meet you! Preschool Preview

Begin your child’s educational journey in a place where faith, curiosity, and community meet. At Eastside Christian School, our Preschool program offers a nurturing, Christ-centered environment designed to spark wonder, joy, and growth in children ages 3–5.  Each year we offer a one-hour Preschool Preview, where you’ll discover how ECS partners with families as children begin to explore, learn, and thrive. Each Preview starts with a welcoming program overview from our Preschool Director, who will introduce our early-childhood philosophy, play-based curriculum, faith-infused chapel, and whole-child approach. This overview also provides space for parent questions before you head into classrooms.

Afterward, families are escorted to our Preschool classrooms to meet our experienced teachers and education specialists. While our current students enjoy time on the playground or in PE, parents can observe classroom environments and engage in relaxed, informal conversations with teachers about daily routines, learning activities, and how we support the transition to Kindergarten.

Elementary Open House, for K–5th Grade
Thursday, January 22, 2026 | 2:45PM – 4:00PM

Join us for our Elementary Open House, a special event designed for prospective parents exploring enrollment for their K–5th grade students in 2026 and beyond. Whether your child is entering Kindergarten or continuing through the elementary years, this event will give you an inside look at how Eastside Christian School inspires both academic excellence and a lifelong love for Christ.

Families interested in an overview of our program are invited to meet with Principal Lori Decker at 2:45 PM. Classroom doors will open for new families and current ECS families at 3:15 PM, giving you the opportunity to tour classrooms, visit learning spaces, and experience the warm, Christ-centered community that makes ECS unique.

During your visit, you’ll also be able to:

  • Tour our campus and explore the classrooms, playgrounds, and learning environments where children thrive each day.
  • Meet our teachers and staff, who partner with parents to nurture each child’s spiritual, academic, and character growth.
  • Learn about our programs, including weekly specials in art, music, PE, computer science, and Spanish—all rooted in a foundation of faith.
